• VLOC Incorporated (VLOC) is a subsidiary of II-VI Incorporated (II-VI), a publicly traded company listed under the trading symbol “IIVI” on the NASDAQ National Market. II-VI is a world leader in the manufacture of high power CO2 laser optics.
• VLOC was created in 1996 by the merger of Virgo Optics and Lightning Optical Corporation. VLOC’s roots can be traced back to 1977, when Virgo Optics was started up by former Bell Telephone Laboratory engineers to fabricate laser rods and precision laser optics. Virgo Optics relocated to Florida in 1979.
