JOB FUNCTION: Responsible for sales support for all commercial markets and accounts including order tracking, order entry, expediting, and coordination through shipment. Responsible for maximizing customer satisfaction, on-time delivery, production efficiency and throughput via effective communication and tracking of sales order and work orders. Provides administrative support and responsibility for day-to-day VLOC Export Compliance Program as well as assisting in ensuring VLOC remains in complete compliance with federal export control laws and regulations.
EDUCATION: A.S. in Business. Concentration in International business.
EXPERIENCE:Minimum three years in a manufacturing office environment with a strong emphasis on PC-based applications. Exposure to international markets required.
SPECIAL:Excellent communication skills, experience in light manufacturing environment, computer skills, ability to work with minimal supervision. Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously. A basic understanding of export laws and regulations a plus. Individual must be a self starter, responsibile for accurate processing of sales orders, part creation and interaction with customers relating to on-time delivery and expedite requests. Ensuring export compliance practices are followed, administered and enforced.
